Users of Wacom’s smart styli will feel the difference immediately after installation. When setting up the app and configuring the stylus, users can now choose from six different wrist positions to reflect the most common positions of the hand while writing and sketching. By choosing the position of the wrist that fits best with how users hold the pen, the update will considerably improve the offset correction. The setup is quick and easy, using pictures to explain the process.

Installing the latest firmware update for the Bamboo fineline and Intuos Creative Stylus 2 will provide the best results for Bamboo Paper users. The “Wacom Stylus Update” app is now available in Apple’s iTunes App Store here. Users simply download the app and pair their Wacom stylus via Bluetooth and the app will guide them through the update. Apart from greater accuracy when writing and drawing fast or in small detail, this firmware update also makes sure that the battery level is indicated correctly.
